My nieces Jenna and Kelsey always have loved doing a tea party at their "Aunt Jenny’s" house.
It is so fun to get all dressed up fancy, drinking tea with little finger treats served on a fancy table. There is nothing more girly and fun. I remember growing up having tea parties with my Aunts when they came to visit from thei homes far away. I also used to do a tea for some of my friends on or around Valentines Day. JUST for the girls of course. No boys allowed! I remember the dresses, the real tea, the treats and crafts that we used to do. All so enchanting. My mom was good enough to help me put it all together. She has taught me well with her eye for splashes of color and decorating making ordinary things and transforming them into fancy things. It was so fun to put this day together. Complete with little invitations my friend Rebecca and i stamped together. --
I invited
Jenna(8) and Kelsey (9) Matthews- my nieces
Courtney Reamer (5) my boss’ daughter
Shelby Hansen (9)- my Friend Rebecca’s daughter
Brooklyn Ouetting (5) - my Friend Alicia’s daughter
Moriah (11) and Makayla (13) Buys -our landlord’s daughters

They all arrived in fancy dresses. Jenna who we (her family know as our Jenna-Bug because she loves ladybugs) arrived in an outfit that was all Red and Black and looked like a ladybug. It was so cute. Makayla Buys wore her favorite fancy dress of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. They truly all looked Lovely.
It was so cute.
I served apple juice for the younger girls and REAL TEA (if you can imagine the excitement here) for the older girls. My red everyday dishes were perfect with a pink heart shaped napkin in the center which was only made complete with a small champagne glass filled with fruit cocktail with whip cream and sprinkles. Very fun. Vanilla scones, heart shaped mini cakes, and cookies complimented our tea and made it quite a "royal affair" I was told by one of the girlies. *giggle* Afterwards we did a couple crafts and that completed our afternoon tea. Hopefully it will remain a good memory for these sweet girls who I love dearly and maybe we will just have to do it again.
